Mr. Mahoney's Letter to the Senior Class

When people ask me about this school year they typically ask two questions: they ask what I have liked about WHS (just about everything) and they ask what I wish I could have done better.  The answer to that question is simple: I wish I had gotten to know you better.  I wish that we spent all four of your high school years together.  For sure we got to know each other a little bit, but I know that I missed out on something great…I missed out on knowing each of you as individuals.

Editor Letter

Dear Class of 2017,  

Izzy and Katherine here. Thomas Jefferson once said that “honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom”, so we wanted to start this letter off right by making a confession. For weeks, we procrastinated working on the Senior Edition, so now the two of us are sitting at a kitchen island the day before prom, scrambling to create something worthy of you guys and praying that we’ll be able to afford expedited 3-day shipping. But we think this situation captures the spirit of the Class of 2017 exactly. We’re imperfect, candid, and spontaneous.
